Sinead Egan

I am a fully qualified primary school teacher from Ireland on a permanent resident bridging visa. I have experience teaching across various class levels including a special educational setting. I am an ambitious and enthusiastic individual with an organized and focused approach to work and a determination to succeed at any task. My strongest attribute is my interpersonal skills while I also have a friendly and caring nature. My aim is to ensure that my students reach their full potential therefore I strive for a positive classroom environment that children can flourish in.

• In the summer of 2019, I worked in an Italian Summer Camp (Lingue Senza Frontiere) teaching Italian children aged from 7-14 how to speak English through games, songs and activities. This experience involved organizing activities and sporting events for the children to participate in.
• The major specialism I chose in university was Religious Education. A module I engaged with as part of my specialism is Cultural Diversity & Religious Pluralism. Expertise and experience in this module will allow me to celebrate diversity in the classroom and to teach children to respect the different traditions and cultures of others.
