Summary

As an educator guided by the principles of the Reggio Emilia experience, I believe in empowering children as independent thinkers and researchers while guiding them through their learning journey. Monthly newsletters serve as a platform for parents to understand and engage with our educational approach, fostering a community where communication and shared knowledge are paramount. I prioritise building strong relationships between children, families, educators, and the broader community, recognising the importance of belonging and preparing children for their educational journey. By liaising with parents to develop individualised strategies that respect cultural backgrounds and beliefs, I create a supportive environment that promotes empathy and compassion among children and adults alike. Utilizing various documentation methods, including digital tools and written observations, I track children's learning processes and interests, informing future lesson planning and fostering meaningful conversations. Through collaborative efforts with colleagues and community, I advocate for children's rights and needs in Early Childhood Education, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
