Classes:

Year 7, 8 & 10 – Japanese

Year 9 - Chinese

Year 11 – Chinese and Literature & Chinese in Context (combined class)

Year 12 - Chinese and Literature, Chinese in Context (combined class) & Chinese Extension

As a classroom teacher, the duties are as follows:

• Design sequential lesson plans for each grade and class according to different subjects by using suitable materials and teaching methods.
• Manage classrooms with suitable strategies based on school behavioural management procedures.
• Provide individual help to students according to student's needs.
• Participate in the school's daily events (assembly, duty of playground and sports day) and administrative events (faculty meeting and staff meeting).
• Communicate with students and their families to help students in their learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the same faculty and also other staff.
• Grasp suitable teaching materials and strategies for the combined classes in different year groups.

Classes:

Year 8, 9 & 10 - Japanese

As a pre-service teacher, the duties are as follows:

• Design sequential lesson plans for Year 8, Year 9 & Year 10 Japanese classes with ICT, engaging learning strategies and suitable materials.
• Design engaging lesson plans for students under the remote teaching condition.
• Develop teaching approaches with other teachers and cater to student's needs (Differentiation) based on the NSW syllabus.
• Correct student's works and give feedback on their tasks.
• Understand the co-curriculum teaching and learning across different subject areas.
• Design different classroom managing strategies for each class.

Classes:

Year 8 – Chinese

Year 11 – Chinese and Literature, Chinese in Context & Chinese continuers (combined class)

As a pre-service teacher, the duties are as follows:

• Design sequential lesson plans for Year 8 Chinese classes and Year 11 Chinese continuers & Chinese and Literature classes with ICT, engaging learning strategies and suitable materials.
• Correct students' works and give effective feedback on their writing tasks to maintain students' motivation and learning progress.
• Participate in school's daily events (assembly, duty of playground and sports day) and administrative events (department meeting and whole school meeting).
• Understand the use of the school internal system (Sentral Platform) to receive the latest school information, report students' behaviour, and contact parents if needed.
• Understand the teaching methods for the combined class.

Classes:

Year 8 & 10 - Japanese

As a pre-Service teacher, the duties are as follows:

• Design sequential lesson plans for Year 8 & Year 10 Japanese classes with ICT, engaging learning strategies and suitable materials.
• Develop teaching approaches with other teachers and cater to student's needs (Differentiation) based on the NSW syllabus.
• Correct student's works and give feedback on their oral tasks.
• Understand the co-curriculum teaching and learning across different subject areas.
