I am currently working at Rockingham Hospital as a PSA where I stay flexible and work on many different wards however I can mainly be found within ICU or Mental Health. Every ward is slightly different but my daily tasks can include:

• Handout patient meals and snacks according to individual dietary restrictions or preferences ensuring proper nutrition for patients.
• Reduce risk of infections by following the correct infection control protocols within the facility including proper hand hygiene and correct don/doffing.
• Facilitated patient mobility through careful assistance with transfers and repositioning.
• Used wheelchairs, slide boards and movable beds to move patients between hospital locations.
• Maintained a clean and safe environment for patients and nurses by performing routine housekeeping tasks.
• Cleaned, sanitized and moved hospital equipment.
• Warmly greeted patients and visitors and made each feel welcome.
• Managed patient documentation accurately ensuring proper confidential handling.
• Collect and deliver laboratory specimens, medications and any equipment that nurses need.
• Can stay self-motivated with a strong sense of personal responsibility.
• Skilled at working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Working at KFC helped me grow into who I am today as it was my first job that I started in high-school. Whilst at KFC I worked mainly on the front counter and as an order taker for drive through. The tasks included were:

• Maintained a clean and organized restaurant, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.
• Delivered excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
• Supported store operations by assisting in stocking shelves and organizing store stock.
• Managed cash register operations, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.
• Reduced wait times for customers by consistently prioritizing speed without sacrificing accuracy or quality of service.
• Handled high volumes of customers during peak hours, maintaining composure under pressure.
• Prepared store for opening or closing procedures, ensuring all tasks were completed thoroughly and on time.
• Cleaned work areas and reasturant of excess supplies, cardboard and rejected materials throughout each shift.
• Learned and adapted quickly to new technology and software applications.
