  • In this all-rounder secretarial / executive admin role, I manage our company director's calendar and inbox, and action any cold calls from prospective new clients, while also working in tandem with our casting, editing and HR / hiring management teams.
  • Duties include: handling events and meeting bookings, liaising with production and photography clients interstate across NSW, QLD, WA and in Melbourne, invoicing and basic graphic design, communicating with our signed talent and their families, plus creating email packages & newsletters, compiling reports, presentations and briefs, photo editing & retouching, website database management, data entry, keeping abreast of the latest industry news and researching new opportunities, customer retention, handling memberships, onboarding and off-boarding new & expired profiles, assisting on local photoshoots, and meeting casting deadlines as they arise.

  • This contract role was my entry into corporate admin work, following a prior work history in hospitality & customer service. The roles were split between permanent on-site staff and relief cover roles such as mine, where I was moved between various companies in the CBD to cover staff on leave and be trained across different sites.
  • This included venues such as CSL, WeWork, EY, Optus, TransUrban, Aware Super, & SportsBet.
  • Daily and weekly tasks included assisting with on and off-boarding new & former staff, assigning locker passes and digital keys, mail handling, organising catering and bookings for conferences and guest lectures/ site tours, booking and taking minutes in meetings, database management for each site's respective IT and security systems, liaising with internal & external executives, various contractors and facilities teams, Fire Warden training, booking travel, holding weekly staff yoga and raffle prize events, assisting visitors with appointments or any queries they may have, and general diary and calendar + inbox management.
