During this time, I travelled multiple destinations including:

• East Coast Australia
• New Zealand
• Japan

I also spent a period in Melbourne where I was job searching for the short time I was there for. Due to a highly saturated job market, I focused on a small amount of event work through an agency called Guardhouse. I also completed some shifts for a children’s party company called Fizz Kidz.

• Edited educational resources with a focus on maths
• Attended regular professional meetings to set targets and assess business needs
• Worked closely within a team of editors, writers and designers to improve quality and consistency
• Provided feedback to team members on various tasks
• Offered assistance to other teams within the company when required (e.g. proof-reading books for the ‘Originals’ team)

• Supported and trained tutoring staff to deliver best practice
• Greeted children and families entering the centre and built close relationships
• Managed phone calls/emails which included payments, debts, new members and complaints
• Helped oversee the daily operations of the centre, managing staff, events and health & safety

• Planned, delivered and assessed daily activities and lessons for Year 5
• Adapted tasks and lessons to children's needs, interests and levels

• Tracked inventories and replenished products according to demand
