Professional with expertise in supporting patients through tailored therapy plans. Skilled in patient assessment, therapeutic interventions, and progress evaluation. Strong focus on collaboration and achieving results, adaptable to changing needs. Known for empathy, effective communication, and problem-solving.
Through my two jobs as an Occupational Therapist I understand the importance of following the correct procedures, in order to facilitate safe practice. I followed the Occupational Therapy process model, where I would evaluate a person by conducting assessments, in turn, that will initiate which interventions are suitable and beneficial for that person. Once interventions are in place I would reevaluate to ensure their needs are being met and there are positive outcomes e.g. improved quality of life and care. I acknowledge the importance of having clear and factual Occupational Therapy reports, detailing any engagements and communications had.
I left my previous role as an Occupational Therapist in the United Kingdom, on the 3rd February 2023. The reason I left this job is because I left the United Kingdom to move to Australia to work and travel. When I arrived in Australia I chose to not register with AHPRA straight away, so I could travel Australia. I now want to settle in Australia and continue my career as an Occupational Therapist.
