Sophie Mayes, most recently is an Executive Assistant at UNICEF Australia (United Nations Children's Fund) working across both the International Programs, and Domestic Programs teams. In her previous role, Sophie was a Researcher and Executive Assistant at Nakatomi, a technology innovation company. Sophie has worked with UNICEF and the UNDP on major projects, including playing a key role in The Lion's Share, a charity that brings together the worlds of conservation and advertising. Sophie worked with Creatable, an education disruptor opening the door for women in tech, to bring STEM-based courses to the world's poorest country, Burundi. Before joining Nakatomi, Sophie worked alongside the Chief Creative Officer and Head of Strategy at Saatchi & Saatchi as their Executive Assistant, a role which saw her innovate and excel in the worlds of production and business. Sophie also worked alongside Rob Galluzzo, the founder of FINCH, the busiest production company in Australia, in an Executive Assistant role. With a Bachelor's degree in Law, Sophie pivoted in her career choice after falling in love with the creative industry. She is a problem solver at heart, and is driven by doing good things for the world. Sophie applies her skills across a range of areas in the business world, driving growth in the sector. Her core focus is on strategic research, social good, and supporting the team.
