• Developed and executed sourcing strategy for a time critical replacement of 600 gas switches for a Contract value of $14M. The strategy delivered alternative supplier base and identified alternative products that reduces environmental impacts.
• Developed and executed sourcing strategy for a large scale 66kV customer connection project, influencing a spend of $500M
• Successfully concluded complex EPC contract negotiation and achieved savings of $11M for a 22km underground cable construction project

• Developed and executed category strategy to support delivery of capital projects with annual budget of USD 120M and delivered USD 5.2M in savings
• Lead the formation of global engineering category council to develop a framework for a consolidated approach for equipment maintenance program. The execution of framework consolidated global maintenance programs for common equipment, improved spares management improved supplier performance and delivered savings.
• Developed and lead a team of sourcing specialist to execute procurement strategy for construction of a new influenza vaccine manufacturing facility at a budget of AUD800M. Engineering services, manufacturing equipment, project management and construction services were procured for the project.
• Championed transition of Line of Business procurement model to centralised procurement model for the CAPEX category globally
• Developed and executed sourcing strategy to source cleaning and waste removal suppliers for the Melbourne Parkville site. Annually AUD3M was spent across seven different suppliers for cleaning and waste services. The strategy recommended and delivered savings of AUD 500K and consolidated the supplier base to two suppliers
• Lead the outsourcing of energy (electricity and gas) sourcing to third party provider to ensure procurement of energy supply is based on informed market trends and optimal contracting strategy. This strategy delivered a savings of AUD1M. The same approach was then implemented at other sites globally.

Developed Category Strategy identifying opportunities to reduce TCO of asset by 25% through, product optimisation, improved contract compliance, supply base rationalization
• Influencing spend of $30M, lead Strategic Sourcing Project along with AT-Kearney that identified cost saving opportunities and alternative vendors to mitigate supply chain risks for high voltage network equipment.

• Categories influenced were HR, Marketing (Creative Agencies), Corporate Services, Retails Services and Laboratory Equipment and commodities

Achievements:

• Influencing spend pf $25M, I developed and executed sourcing strategies to source recruitment agencies. Successfully managed to achieve $1.5M savings through price optimisation, increased contract compliance (90%) and vendor rationalization.
• Developed and executed strategy to source laboratory gas with contract value of $1M. Achieved cost savings of $450k through unit price reduction, logistics optimization, invoice consolidating and increased contract compliance by 70%
