In this role, I am solely responsible for the administrative management of a locally owned fabrication company. I manage all general office duties including reception, purchasing, accounts, wages, meeting ATO obligations, data entry and record management. I am also responsible for the preparation of supporting documents for BAS. In my role, I prepare documentation namely quotes and tenders for projects. I am proficient in the use of Xero and Reckon accounting systems and Microsoft products.
I am responsible for reconciliation of the corporate bank accounts and credit cards as well as monitoring cash flow to ensure budgets are maintained.
I proactively monitor outstanding customer accounts and undertake contact to arrange collection or discuss payment arrangements to ensure consistent receipt of business income.
I am responsible for the monitoring and documentation of training and site induction packages for our small installation staff.
I also provide support to the sales team and the Managing Director where required.
Similarly to my current role at Barnes & Sons, I was responsible for reception and general office management including wages, accounts payable and receivable, purchasing, invoicing and marketing.
This role required a high level of proficiency in the use of Reckon accounting system and Microsoft products.
In this role, I was responsible for the creation and management of purchase orders for projects for all nine branches of the group. This required a high level of attention to detail and meeting deadlines to ensure orders were accurately placed to meet project timeframes. This role included extensive communication with suppliers and stakeholders providing a point of contact with the customer to ensure their expectations were met and jobs completed to their satisfaction.
I was also responsible for the processing of payroll for all nine branches including approximately 70 staff across the state. This role also required me to manage all superannuation and ATO obligations for those 70 staff.
