Cost Reduction Projects -

  • Disposed obsolete stock worth $ 3.5 M in 2024 by building a new strategic relationship with a major Oil & Gas Auction house , made a return of $ 100 K from dead stock & improved warehouse utilization
  • Lead the Jackson site Closure with inventory value of $ 10 M & reduced it to $ 5 M by moving the items across wherever we had demand in the business
  • Toowoomba Logistics HUB closure , with a very compressed timeline to quit the space by ensuring all the inventory is allocated , moved out highly aged items worth $ 100 K , by liaising with auction houses and obtained 25% return on Auction.

Safety stock optimization -

  • Performed comprehensive review across EA-PNG of the safety stock to reduce the inventory value by $ 300 K
  • Improved service levels & on-time availability of projects & critical spares by proposing increase in safety stock

Process Improvement -

  • Monitored, improved the current Purchasing strategy to prevent excess Inventory in the system

  • Achieved the feet of lowest stock out rate of 9% in the History of Dubai DSC by continuous improvement of the Supplier performance(Expediting ) , Supply Planning methodologies , Supply Planning Parameters ( FC , SS , Lead time ) , Logistics process
  • Execution , implementation & tracking of the Direct Shipment Project which is an organization wide recognized transformation project implemented to change mode of supply from Regional Internal Procurement Hubs to their vendors directly and upon completion of phase 1 ( 650 SKUs - 4 Vendors ) , there was 45% reduction in the cost(Markup , Logistics, packaging etc.) & a reduction in lead time by 20 days . Have also completed 99% of Phase 2 ( 7 Internal Procurement HUBs to 15 vendors )
  • Introduction & management of the supply chain portfolio of 15 Third Party vendors from North America, Europe and Asia, generating over $ 10 Million sales per quarter for Dubai DSC (Distribution Service Centre) by setting up of Vendor Parameters in SAP , Third party PO Management process , Logistics process & Supplier performance measurement.
  • Post Pandemic Cash flow preservation by highlighting Forecasting inaccuracy of $ 2M , transfer of Excess Inventory from other Distribution HUB's amounting to $ 3M & Cancellation of Open PO’s worth $ 4M to optimize the inventory according to the Market requirements
  • NOV Alternative sourcing Project resolved stock outs of a very strategic category of tools by alternatively sourcing from the suppliers entities based in KSA , UAE & UK & resolving stock outs of 45 items within a week
  • Trained & Mentored various teams for SAP Deployment in other Supply Chain Functions of the company

Daily Tasks:

  • Planning Replenishment of Materials & Spare Parts for the Product line Reservoir production - Eastern Hemisphere( 6000 SKUs ) using SAP MM by reviewing historical trends ,demand planning inputs , upcoming projects & current field requirements
  • Forecasting & weekly review of existing forecasts to ensure the accuracy and avoid excess replenishment due to huge demand variance
  • Continuous review of Cancellation & De-expedite messages for management of Excess PO's in Dubai DSC (Distribution Service Centre) according to the market conditions to preserve cash flow
  • Weekly root cause analysis of stocked items in categories of demand pattern(High runners) , stock out history , price bucket , tool/project category to prevent stock outs
  • Measurement of Supplier Performance ( On time delivery, Ease of Transaction , Quality issues , Logistics performance , Discrepancies) using Power BI dashboards to facilitate continuous improvement
  • Lead major Project deployments to facilitate process improvements leading to supply Improvement & cost reduction
  • Maintain , analyze and improves master data and critical parameter integrity of the ERP( SAP )
  • Supporting the Logistics by highlighting bottlenecks & highly aged systems
