• Following OH&S rules and regulations Due to the lack in of employment opportunities in Adelaide in my defined trade as Crane Technician, I engaged in self employment as ‘GRAVAS MAINTENANCE' carrying out general maintenance and handyman duties, during which I have carried out work including; Painting. Paving. Wall cladding and repairs. Wall frames and door replacements. Partial roofing frame replacements. Storm water pipe installation. Fencing installation and repairs. 4 Small concrete work. General household repairs. I have an equipped maintenance vehicle complete with all tools. Although I was regularly in work, I moved on as I was offered a permanent position in the Aged Care Sector as I had a strong understanding of what is required in this field. I thoroughly enjoyed working with the elderly and found it extremely fulfilling but was looking to explore more challenging work. It is here that i decided to reopen Gravas maintenance which has run successfully again for 4 years. Due to my wife & business partner obtaining a full time job in her field, making it difficult for her to fulfill the office component of the business, I now look to seek a permanent position myself.
