· Meet prospect client, negotiate, review, and diagnose financial position to obtain financial independence (contract terms and conditions)
· On boarding new business via Strategic Property Plan (SPP) service
· Deliver and present strategic investment, from pricing and capabilities to advice clients and support them in making their decisions
· Ongoing management in conjunction with project management of process from start to finish – on boarding new clients to purchase further products and services
· Refer new and existing clients to both internal and external referral partners
· Adhere to strict compliance standards regarding general advice
· Conduct annual reviews of existing clients’ portfolios and advise them of further development
· Managing and expanding existing requests from existing clients
· Provide superannuation advice to wholesale and retail clients
· Lead the National Business Development strategy with regard to existing dormant accounts and new client acquisition
· The creation of compliant IP on behalf of the National Sales Department including phone sales scripts, FAQ client documents and client account review scripts
· Represent the company at National Events, including the SMSF EXPO (FRI - SUN 25 NOV 2018)
· Identify business opportunity on existing client accounts for cross selling with relation to financial planning, equity broking products and services
· Generate and grow new FUM by consolidating client share portfolio's within Canaccord Genuity Grou
· First point of contact for new and existing HNW private clients
· Manage existing private client relationships and ensure the timely resolution of client concerns
· Preparation of documents for client meetings including initial client meetings, on-boarding, SOA's, ROA’s, implementation documents and client review meetings
· Placing trades for new and existing client accounts (Managed Models, Direct Equities and Managed Funds)
· Managing Corporate Action's on behalf of clients
· Attending the quarterly Investment Committee meetings
· Updating the "Economic Update" required for Managed Account Reviews
· Responsible for new business generation including and not limited to, client referrals, inbound phone inquiries, internal referrals from accounting relationships and networking events
· Provide advice to wholesale and retail clients covering superannuation, securities, MIS, fixed interest and deposit products
· Responsible for business development and business growth through new CRM leads, existing CRM leads, referrals from existing clients and company seminars
· Present tailored financial advice documents covering finance, wealth creation, retirement planning, tax, superannuation, SMSF, equities, property, estate planning and insurance
· Collate and communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure the best client outcomes
· Manage existing client relationships and undertake annual reviews on financial planning services
· Host fortnightly company seminars focused on financial planning services and also co-host seminars with industry leaders
