  • After University between working on my family farm I worked on a cattle property
  • The main duties involved included mustering, processing and feeding cattle
  • Experiences gained from this job allowed me to see the harsh reality of the beef industry, as it was during a severe drought
  • This involved drafting cattle to suit different markets and understanding how a disaster like this can impact and affect the whole agricultural industry.

Farm Hand

  • Working on a large cattle station involved performing a wide range of activities including mustering, feeding, branding, yard work, tractor driving and more

Hobby- Art

Art- During UNI holidays I enjoy creating garden sculptures and ornaments, generally out of unwanted materials found around the property. Some of the materials I’ve most commonly used is old rusty barb wire and scrap metal pulled off old machinery. This gives me a degree of freedom as there is no distinct end product, so I can experiment and try different things with the materials I have.
