• Represent Optus Enterprise Business area for ICT, IoT and Managed Mobile/Fixed/Data which heavily rely on SAP customer project financial reporting
• Stakeholders including ICT Finance Manager, IoT Product Managers & Finance Manager, Managed Carriage Portfolio Director, OE Billing Manager, ICT Operation Manager, OE Delivery AD, Financial Reporting Team and Commission Team

• Facilitate BAU operational business owners for sign-off on DDD documents, User security profiles, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing and Training sessions

• Co-ordinate project Go Live detailed cutover plan and required sign-off from BAU operational business owners

Key Achievements:

• Simplify intercompany process – decommissioning SAP ECC IDOC process and migrate vendor purchasing order from Co63 to Co01. This resolves current SAP ECC pain points of monthly manual reclass journals and incorrect internal debtor and creditor balances.It also reduces overall Optus monthly elimination journals.
• Improve customer project template to align with ICT vs IoT separate reporting requirements
• Simplify ICT/Managed Carriage Chart of Accounts to improve revenue and cost reporting clarity
• Configure resource activity type master data to enable Optus Enterprise Delivery team to record non billable time on CAPEX projects. This further eliminate the requirement for ICT Finance team to process monthly manual reclass journal and allows CAPEX team to have direct and instant visibility on the budget management.
• Address SAP ECC FICO reconciliation variance by eliminating legacy single sided FI reclass postings and educate relevant business operational owners on adjusting future reporting views.

• General Accounting – own monthly Trial Balance; month end close and balance sheet account reconciliation
• Financial & Management Reporting – preparation of annual statutory accounts and LOB / CoE reporting packs to OE Product directors
• Budget/Forecast Management – contribute and support monthly forecast planning and annual budget.
• Compliance – assist internal/external audits queries and liaise with group tax team for annual tax returns including GST, FBT and Income Tax.
• Business partnering - provide accurate, timely and quality financial support to senior leadership team. Develop thorough understanding of cost and revenue drivers, strong business insights and analysis and articulating clearly the profitability realities.
• Change Management – contribute in Alphawest finance migration project from Great Plain to SAP including master data mapping; liaise with Optus teams to realign AR/AP, Payroll, Credit Management and Capex functions; UAT and reporting requirement design. Contribute to Optus Managed Service business integration project to SAP.
• System and reporting – maintain the integrity of the SQL database; solid understanding of the financial data mapping and process; support reporting design and automation to align with business reporting requirements and improve productivity

• Provided input and insight into reporting methodologies to improve the reporting relevance and efficiency including key financial results, KPI metrics and headcounts
• Provided overall support and review of Flash and Forecast cycle for GSS lines of business and ensured that corporate reports are representative of source documentation and approved forecasts. Generated and participated in production of Marketing Forecasts.
