I am self-sufficient and capable of working independently or collaboratively in a team setting, as I have done so at various capacities. • 08/1994, Current, As a dedicated Volunteer Firefighter, my main responsibility is to safeguard lives and property across NSW, and occasionally offer assistance to firefighters in other states. Through my tenure, I've acquired valuable skills and experience that have enabled me to educate and lead fellow firefighters in various scenarios, such as grass and bush fires, structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, and search and rescue missions. I have faced critical incidents involving injuries and fatalities, where I assumed a leadership role by overseeing personnel at the scene and monitoring their well-being. Organizing debriefing sessions for counseling through our control center was a crucial aspect of my duties. These experiences have equipped me to effectively handle any situation that may arise in my daily work or personal life., Life Member of the Orchard Hills Rural Fire Brigade, Basic Fire Fighter (Grass and Bush Fire Fighting), Village Fire Fighter (Structure/Car fires and Motor Vehicle Accidents), Advance Fire Fighter (Bush Fire Fighting, Map reading, Understanding fire behavior, Pumps and pumping)., Crew Leader (Able to lead a team of fire fighters whilst at emergency Incidents), Wildfire, Village, Safety/ICS (CLS)
