Founding trustee of the Kids Pony Foundation which is a registered charity in Northern Ireland providing pony and animal therapy for children with learning a physical disabilities, with over 250 children registered. Duties included:

• Overall fund raising
• Grant applications
• Spokesman and chair of trustees

The company was an investment company with the following activities;

• Investment and development of real estate throughout the UK and Ireland a portfolio totalling over 75 properties
• Properties ranged from commercial warehousing to hotel development
• Investment in US oil and Gas assets

My Role involved the following;

• Fund raising for investment activities which included procurement of over 200 financial advisors throughout the UK
• Management of 45 building staff and contractors
• Development of 22 properties in Belfast and Manchester
• Management of oil and gas investments in Texas totalling over £35 million
• Management of 65 in house staff
• Responsible for overall profitability and report back to the board

Drennan Hill Ltd is located 2 minutes outside of Belfast city center and was established to develop a boutique equestrian hotel. Duties included;

• Management of 12 staff and contractors
• Development of the farm in a boutique equestrian centre with the largest outdoor equestrian arena in Ireland
• Refurbishment of property into boutique accomodation

Ramses Progressio specialised in project finance throughout Europe and the US, in this role I was responsible for the following fund raises;

• $90 million Oil and Gas facility in Kazakhstan
• $40 million management buy out for Oil and Gas services company in Texas
• $25 million biotech facility plant in Slovakia
• 12 million Euro aged care facility in Spain
• $55 million investment foundation in Russsia
• $35 million Oil and Gas facility in Tunisia

FAI Finance Europe was a consumer finance company providing retail finance throughout the United Kingdom, my duties included;

• £35 million securitisation facility with Barclays
• Management of 122 in house staff
• Management of over 300 finance agents throughout the UK
• Report to the board

Founder and Managing Director of Lombard Australia a consumer finance company offering retail point of sale finance throughout Australia, responsibilities included;

• Secure and establishment of equity finance
• Secure and establishment of mezzanine finance facility with private lender Absolute Capital
• Securitisation facility with St George Bank
• Report to the chair and board
• Expansion of the companies operations throughout Australia
• Management of 22 in house staff

FAI Finance was a consumer finance company which offered retail point of sale finance throughout Australia and New Zealand, it was only one of 2 companies which managed to survive the HIH collapse and was later sold on to become Australian Finance Direct, I originally accepted and was appointed Managing Director of Australian Finance Direct which was offered to myself by New Zealand entrepreneur Eric Watson however I decided to establish my own finance company Lombard Australia. My duties as Managing Director of FAI Finance included;

• Managing the companies operations throughout Australia and New Zealand
• Maintaining the portfolio which was in excess of $75 million
• Overall management of the introducer network throughout Australia and New Zealand
• Report to the board and HIH administrator
• Management of the securitisation agreement with Westpac

In my position as Financial Controller for the Australian and New Zealand operation I was responsible for the following;

• Monthly management reporting
• Statutory reporting
• Reporting to the board
• Establishment and management of a initial $20 million asset backed securitisation facility with Westpac
• Management of 28 accounting and adminsitration staff
• Operational auditing
• Systems management
