The summit gathers an unrivalled collection of global and domestic leaders annually in Melbourne from all sectors of the sports industry to create, share and connect.

The 2023 event attracted close to 1000 delegates from 21 countries representing over 400 businesses. Over 50% of attendees were C-Suite, Board and Senior Sport Leaders offering a unique networking opportunity with key industry decision makers.

The 2024 two-day live conference will feature an unparalleled group of domestic and global leaders, presenting both in-person and virtually, offering delegates and partners extraordinary insights from – and access to – the most credentialed voices in world sport and business. The third day of the event is reserved for a series of optional site visits exploring Melbourne’s array of world-class infrastructure.

This role is a 7 month contract position, due to conclude in April 2024.

  • Manage day to day administrative tasks and logistics of the event.
  • Coordinate with venue and catering staff on delivery, timing and service style of food.
  • Liaise with Event Partners and Stakeholders to action and manage agreed deliverables.
  • Coordinate external suppliers, photographers, and musicians for events.
  • Use EventsAir event management software to create event registration sites, invoices, delegates, Partner and Stakeholder communications and budgets for the event.
  • Maintain and built comprehensive database of industry contacts, vendors and venues.
  • Fulfill contractual obligations for rehearsal and day of event coordination.
  • Interact professionally with delegates and partners to build connections and nurture relationships pre-event.
