  • For the past two and a half years, I have been working at Woolworths Metro Rode Road. During my time at Woolworths, I have been provided the opportunity to experience four different departments and have developed a variety of skills and attributes which will assist me for my time after school.
  • Checkout Team Member – As a team member getting assigned to the checkouts. I demonstrate my attributes by being an amazing team member by encouraging and supporting my other team members to work their hardest.
  • Online Team Member – As a team member getting assigned to the Online department, I utilise my skills and attributes by getting online orders delivered to our customers as soon as possible. Being an Online Team member developed my ability to my commitment and dedication.
  • Grocery Team Member – As a team member getting assigned to the Grocery department, I demonstrate my skills and attributes by organizing the team members in my department to help and get the job successful, being a grocery team member involves bringing pallets onto the store floor to fill the shelves, so our customers can get their wants or needs.
  • Bakery Team Member – As a team member getting assigned to the Bakery department, I demonstrate my skills and attributes by being able to constantly work long shifts and to put out bakery items for our customers to shop and buy.

  • For the past three months I took the opportunity to work at TK Maxx. Whilst working at Tk Maxx It gave me more opportunities to improve my personal attributes and my overall retail skills and experiences
  • Maintenance – Working in maintenance means I have the responsibility to keep the store tidy and clean by removing loose clothes and coat hangers off the store floor.
  • Flow – Working in Flow means I get the opportunity to bring out stock to the store floor and fill the shelves for the customers to get what they need.
  • Processing – Working in Processing means I get the opportunity to put security tags on clothes and other accessories like handbags and suitcases.

Personal Attributes

  • Commitment and Dedication – Willing to provide contribution or commitment to an organisation. I have demonstrated this by being an Aspley Scout for nine years and committing to every scout activity.
  • Reliable – I can be reliable for attending work and contributing as a team member. I demonstrate this by my high attendance at Scouts and camps. Also achieving the required tasks to be awarded for the citizenship award from my high school.
  • Verbal Communication – I regularly communicate with individuals from different cultures and backgrounds. With doing this I was rewarded with my “Patrol Leader” badge from Scouts and my “Garden Manager” badge from Aspley State School.
  • Honesty – I obtain a strong sense of honesty at all times. I demonstrate this by regularly reporting to Scout council meetings with work and behaviour updates within our patrol once a month.
  • Collaborative Team Member – I have a high level of being a team member. I have demonstrated this during many Scout Camps I have attended for the past nine years, for example I flew to South Australia for 11 days, during my time at South Australia I shown being a team member by demonstrating teamwork and communication. Also have shown being a Team Member during school activity projects such as ‘starting and running a business’.

Training

  • 2023 First Aid Certificate Course – Skills learnt during this course were how to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation, basic emergency life support procedures and general first aid. Having this First Aid knowledge is incredibly handy for my time with Scouts, camps we go on and any employment opportunities that come my way.
  • Tafe South Bank – In 2023, I dedicated my time to achieve my Certificate two in Hospitality At TAFE. From this course, I developed a variety of abilities to communicate between my fellow team members around me to complete a successful work day.


Community Service

Aspley Scout Group, 2013, 2021, I have been involved in the Scouting community since I was six when I joined as a Joey Scout. I later graduated up to a Cub Scout, then Scout (where I was a ‘Patrol Leader’) and now a Venturer Scout. During the years I successfully achieved targets to be awarded the following: “Joey Scout Promise” award and “Grey Wolf” awards.
