Summary

I have been working at the RAH since 2017 in logistics. Starting in the loading dock I developed a solid understanding of the distribution and stock management within the hospital. After some time I moved onto the IMS team working in a team to investigate delays in orders. Through a group of reports and liaising with SA Health or suppliers, we are able to keep clinical staff updated with ETA's or alternatives so they can look after their patients.

I have a good understanding of the logistics workflow within the hospital and also rostering people to maintain daily workflow.

I became logistic supervisor for training and quality but after some time moved to supervisor for Imprest management and putaway team. This has also allowed me to better work with all the team members within the logistics team.

Talented Logistics Supervisor with 3 years of experience in managing processes and employees to deliver efficient flow of goods. Expert in designing and implementing imprest layouts that maximize storage capacity, moving deliveries efficiently and timely distribution of goods by directing staff. Personable communicator in motivating staff to promote in smooth operations.

I would like to further my knowledge in the logistics field and believe this position would enable me to do so. Also I believe the experience i have gained as a logistics officer and supervisor would make me a excellent candidate.
