• Semi deliveries at 38'000 litres per drop, filling the generator sets, lighting towers, self-bundled fuel tanks of varying sizes and the refueling off the buses and other vehicles.
• Prestart checks of vehicles.
• Fitness for work is paramount due to the dangerous nature of the job, Managing my fatigue and physical exercise.
• Conducting myself in a professional manner and saying focused on the task while loading and unloading fuel when the plant is in construction and commissioning phases.
• Reporting of any vehicle or plant issues that may hinder the unloading of fuel and/or safety to myself.
• Regular checkups and yearly medical examinations as it is a Main Road / Transport Department requirement.

• Ship bunkers (100'000 litres plus)

• Service trucks with 8000 litre fuel tanks

• Transportation of bulk fuel throughout the Perth Metropolitan areas and Country Towns.
• Assigned in Pocket Road Trains, B Doubles and Semi's ( Private delivery's included businesses and livestock farms, usually within small average establishments.) Transported fuel to customers locations everyday.
• Devoted special emphasis to punctuality and work to maintain outstanding attendance records, consistently arriving to work ready to start.
• On-site refueling for Perth Domestic and International Airport.
• Comprehensive pre start checks of vehicle before starting up or moving.

This includes;

• Barrel inspection, previous load, previous product, ensuring that all compartments are empty prior to loading and capability of loading the next product.
• Adhered to all policies and procedures relating to the safe handling of fuel and general work conditions.

• Driving and Operation insulated Cherry Pickers (EWP's) with up to a 27 metre reach.
• Replacement of 27 Kilometres of SWER line and associated hardware; involving Hydraulic winches, Braked cable rollers and other assorted line laying equipment.
• Common Safety Training programs completion.
• Comfortable and Competent in writing Permits and being held responsible for Permits that involved other work parties.
• A Permit to Work system was to be adhered to before any work was to commence.
• Assistance to the power station operators, Both Electrical and Mechanical.

This included; Servicing of

• vehicles and Generating equipment- (Gas and Diesel fueled engines.) Mostly Caterpillar G 3516
• Gas Engines, Solar and Kongsberg Turbines.
