I am a hard-working, organised individual who can facilitate all facets of a Customs brokerage / freight forwarder. I have excellent Cargowise and Cyberfreight knowledge. I also have a lot of contacts within the industry to be able to problem solve most scenarios.
1. Quote and Cost all my clients work and any new work assigned to me by the branch manager.
2. BDM work to develop existing clients, including client visits, meetings with new contacts, or chasing of additional opportunities.
3. Operations work on my key accounts, including Customs clearance, Quarantine lodgements, transport, freight forwarding.
4. Stock Control and end of month billing for a large storage client. .

I was operating as the branch manager since January 2022, with our commercial manager, but only got the title in January 2023. My tasks were:
1. Reviewed all work practises within the branch and enhanced our procedures to make them more efficient.
2. Made our branch paperless, and made Cargowise enhancements to jobs status for management.
3. Reviewed and enhanced our AP, AR processes. I closed jobs down to recognise job profit sooner.
4. Staff management and development.
5. Reviewed and enhanced our BDM staff to try and enhance our sales performance, and transition from RORO to general freight during the down turn in RORO vessels.
6. Interviewed and hired talented individuals and upskilled our existing staff into different areas of the business as our business needs changed.

Fremantle Customs Brokers was my family business. My father and I ran the company, but it was mainly after 2010 that I took more of the managers role. I obtained my Customs Brokers License in August 2008. I mainly handled the below tasks:
