  • In my capacity as a Channel, I work closely with Veeam's national and focus partners to understand their business strategy and align enablement relating to product, CI, best practices, and architectural design for On-Prem, Hybrid, and Multi-Cloud data protection solutions. This includes creating Veeam technical communities within partners which in turn can drive Veeam Bias into the Channel.
  • Collaborating with Veeam Channel Managers and Partner Vendor Managers is an aspect of my role that is very important. Understanding a partner's strategic roadmap allows me to ensure the right level of enablement and planning is allocated to help the channel position Veeam and its portfolio of products.
  • I am the lead technical resource in creating and delivering a program of Veeam Partner Technical Bootcamps across ANZ. This includes product portfolio updates, hands-on labs, tips and tricks, and sizing tool introductions, as well as general management of this particular program.
  • In addition to my channel role, I have a pre-sales component. This includes, but is not limited to, uncovering customers' technical requirements, facilitating an evaluation of such solutions by way of a POC (for example), and eventually technically closing the opportunity to ensure a faster sales cycle.
  • As a quota-carrying technical salesperson I have achieved and overachieved my budgets for the past four years. I am a sales-hungry technical resource who loves to move the needle with our channel partners, which I believe elevates the Veeam portfolio to front of mind within our channel ecosystem.

  • During my time at Westcon, I managed a team of four solution architects across NetApp, Cisco, and F5. As a team of technical resources, we were engaged by both internal and external (channel partner) customers to ensure that a bill of materials was fit for purpose based on the customers' technical requirements.
  • As a quota-carrying technical salesperson, I achieved and overachieved my budgets during my entire tenure. As a sales-hungry technical resource, I loved to move the needle with our channel partners, which I believe elevated the Westcon portfolio to the forefront of our channel ecosystem.
  • As a team, we would undertake regular webinars, road shows, and in-person presentations to ensure the right level of visibility to our channel partner of the NetApp, Cisco, and F5 portfolio of products. This overall improved our credibility with the channel community and showed Westcon as a value-added distributor.
