Over many years of being a Project Manager and Supervisor, I have been able to adapt to different industries and I have been able to learn and share different skills. I believe I have good time management skills, perform well under pressure and have adequate knowledge of budgets and deadlines. My communication and problem solving skills have greatly improved and I believe will continue to do so.
My Project Managing role at Dredging Solutions requires me to develop and maintain plans, projects, quotes, budgets and timelines. Support and train team members and ensure safety with daily toolbox talks and SWIMS. In this role I also provide communication between cliental, the media, EPA and Crown Land.
Working for AFF/ Websters included developing water channels, upgrading pump sites for future harvesting and maintaining and building roads and thoroughfares. Day-to-day operation includes ground preparation, irrigation, supervising contractors and safely responding to and repairing breakdowns of machines, equipment and pumps.
Working with Bridle Group as a senior operator, my involvement was predominantly in civil development and construction in which I led a small crew. My role included plant operating, crushing materials, maintaining and servicing equipment and allocating trucks to remove material.
My role at MLG was to lead and supervise the crushing crew, ensure all pre starts for equipment were completed and documented in a safe manner whilst complying with management policies and procedures. Duties also included training plant operators, quality control and ensuring daily quotas were met.
At Volcanic Resources as a supervisor, it was my duty to enforce procedures and standards to promote safety in order to maintain and achieve goals and ensure the running of the quarry is organized. Daily tasks include loading trucks, along with monitoring truck movement in and out of the quarry.
As a Manager at LV Dohnt Logging, my role required me to liaise with the NSW State Forrest, ensure quotas were met within specific timeframes and within budget. It also required me to ensure the workshop was well maintained in order to meet targets and goals. I was also involved in recruiting and training new employees. As the company was large I was responsible for shift rostering and gathering data for the monthly performance sheets.
