  • My role as an inside salesperson (SDR) is to identify business opportunities for PageUp, complete an in-depth qualification and when properly qualified complete all notes in the CRM (Salesforce) and also briefing notes for the BDM in our shared storage areas
  • The SDR’s role is to utilise both cold outbound calls and cold emails, to various senior managers, in market segments that PageUp is targeting or would like to develop further
  • We also target new market segments to try and get our foot in the door
  • PageUp has a philosophy of going the extra mile in support and tries hard to produce raving fans of its Talent Acquisition Software
  • I now cover all accounts with an employee size greater than 500 employees, across Queensland, South Australia and New Zealand
  • I have been successful in working as a team player with the PageUp BDM’s identifying early-stage projects, organising discovery meetings and demonstrations as required.

  • My role is to qualify prospects with outgoing calls and also qualify marketing generated leads from campaigns, shows and events
  • I was responsible to cover all of Australia, New Zealand and all South East Asia except Japan
  • The business opportunities identified are passed as a brief to the Sales Director who then assigns the most appropriate BDM to follow up to propose, and manage all other sales activities
  • If the account is too small for Ascender to bid on, and is looking for a fully managed payroll service, I then introduce one of the Ascender partners to help them with their requirements.

  • Viatek is a leading regional supplier of managed print services, public and private cloud hosting, video and audio conferencing and VoIP telephony systems
  • Working from the Gosford office of Viatek, to run lead generation campaign’s and provide appointments with qualified business opportunities to various Salespeople throughout NSW
  • Working closely with the marketing manager on all planned campaigns to execute them quickly and efficiently
  • Extensive use of Sales Navigator to identify current executives in target organisations and attempt to contact them by email and phone
  • Once contacted promote Viatek’s full capabilities identify plans and business opportunities we can assist with.

  • The initial role was as an inside sales person calling IT managers CIO’s Procurement managers, and other executives to qualify them as to their future plans in regards to telephony replacement or new systems as required

  • At the end of FY14, I had achieved 5 million in identified sales due in the main, to better corporate demand generation activities
  • My last quarter at ShoreTel I finished on a high by achieving 130% of the quarterly target, many of those will go on to become revenue through various partners.

  • They specialise in the provision of Accounts payable automation for companies running SAP and Oracle financials
  • My role started there to provide targeted calls for executive luncheons held in the main in Sydney and Melbourne
  • This was done by direct calling and providing email invitations to CFO’s, and CIO’s of major companies
  • Lead Generation activities included prospecting for new business via the net, magazines and business networking as well as general outbound calls, against a supplied list of medium to large companies
  • During my time at ReadSoft, the role expanded to inside sales, and I was promoted to a team leader position for a small team of telemarketers, we obtained emails for outbound campaigns using Marketo, which is a very good outbound marketing software tool.
