Senior Draftsperson for Rough-Draft/Rezi-Cad:

• Draftsperson working on projects that range from small renovations, custom designs to NDIS High Physical dwellings, with a focus on volume residential builders (10+ different builders)
• Creating and maintaining Masters for multiple volume home builders using all three major software: AutoCad, ArchiCad and Revit. This also includes quality control and assurance.
• Reviewing requirements for any local council, Estate Guidelines and POD's. Interpreting QDC, CDC, NCC, NDIS Guidelines and Australian Standards and applying any required changes on job by job basis for compliance.
• Production through all stages of design, from concept to construction issue. Including Site plans with detailed earthworks, driveway gradients, disability access and pathways, Landscaping Plans, standard Floorplan sets from Slab Plans to Internal Elevations and also including basic bracing plans and specific details where required.
• Excellent time management skills managing tight turnaround times.
• Providing self checking and quality assurance for plans before issuing to clients.
• Conducting site visits for measure-ups, meeting with prospective clients or construction issues.

Team Leader for Rough-Draft Duties in this role include:

• Primary point of contact to major home builder clients, as well as the first contact point for cash sale clients calling the office.
• Working directly with multiple homebuilder owners, managers (Construction, Design department and sales), and administrators to handle anything ranging from Ordering of plans, Master creation, construction updates to errors/issues that require solving.
• Managing the workflow of 10-15 draftspersons. This includes both job allocation and overseeing productivity, as well as in-house and work-from-home staff.
• Providing training to new staff over a wide range of clients and multiple programs, as well as, assisting all draftspersons with queries with specific building codes and construction standards to client specific requirements that need to be met.
• Conducting productivity assessments for employee hours and invoicing (earnings) to report directly to the company owner.
• Being the primary plan-checker for Rough-Draft to maintain quality assurance and client standards.
• Assisting with quotes for custom jobs or amendments.
• Helping organize social events for special occasions.

Junior Draftsperson:

• Working under General Manager and CEO of Luxury home builder.
• Assisting with creation of concept plans for small lot investment homes for new direction of company.
• Producing Marketing plans for Sales.
• Production drafting for Investment homes side of the company.
• Creating Hydraulic plans for plumbers on-site.

Housekeeping:

• Worked with Housekeeping department of a major ski resort servicing multiple lodges and condos.
• Cleaning duties.

Team Leader:

• Managing small team of 4-5 housekeepers to multiple locations.
• Being responsible for stock-take
• Provided training to new employees
• Working with department managers to handle complaints
