I had done my placement for the 3 weeks and my responsibilities and duties over there are:

• Helping residents with their daily routine.

• Delivering specialist aged care services.

• Ensuring residents have access to medical services,

• Transported individuals to events and activities

• Provided assistance in daily living activities by dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting patients.

• Entertained, conversed, and read aloud to keep patients mentally alert.

• Turned and positioned bed-bound patients to prevent bedsores and maintain comfort levels.

• Maintained a clean, safe, and well-organized patient environment.

• Developed report to create a safe and trusting environment for care.

• Helped patients care for themselves by teaching proper, safe use of ambulation assistive devices such as canes or walkers.

• Supervised daily activities and provided assistance to staff.
