As a member of the School's pastoral care team, the department had organised a fundraising campaign to help the needy in neighbouring countries such as Indonesia. The support included collecting donations for food packages which were distributed to the needy and also help support orphanages in Indonesia.
I had volunteered to help collect donations in the school community by:
-Selling kebabs in the canteen during lunch and recess
- Calling local members of the community and asking for donations.
-Supported engaging, fun, and smooth-running events by helping with organization and planning.
-Used strong interpersonal communication skills to convey information to others.
-Collaborated with other nonprofit organizations (Australian Relief Organisation) to develop joint initiatives that benefited the broader community at large.
