- Participate fully in all aspects of the program. Engage in the routines and programs with children and staff – focus on developing a relationship with children and an understanding of what I need to be done each day in my placement room.
- Record daily observations of focus children and small and large groups of children, plan and implement daily learning experiences for focus
children and small and large groups of children. - Help set up the indoor/outdoor environment each day. Think about flexible ways of setting up the environment and discuss your ideas with the supervising staff consider the safety and wellbeing of the children
and, as well, consider what constitutes reasonable risk-taking.
