Perform basic administration duties
Monitor plant health, growth and make predictions
Monitor soil condition and nutritional level
Assure the quality of fresh flowers at the storage
Control greenhouse conditions according to the plant growth stage and environmental condition
Monitor and report pest, diseases and nutritional deficiencies
Represent Rotaract Club at the community gardening project
Train to establish homegrown vegetables and fruits
Instruct soil management and fertilization practices
Explain planting plan according to environmental conditions
Prepare test plot areas, land, soil and establish an irrigation system
Assist in the hemp seed sowing process
Record plant growth and draw samples for chemical analysis
Assure the product quality and safety
Sampling and asses the quality of raw and processed product
Monitor & control production process as per the HACCP system
Lead production and process staff to make sure they are following correct HACCP guidelines
Clean, dry, seal seed samples and store at -20°C
Asses seed viability and uncovering germination requirements
Understand the Tasmanian plant life-cycles, germination ecology and environmental impacts
Monitor and assure the quality of cherries for individual pickers according to the QC monitor SOP
Liaise with the picking gang Supervisor and QC team leader -feedback/ warnings to pickers regarding fruit quality
Report any accidents, emergencies and HAS issues to farm managers
Represent the University in the educational network programs
Develop professional skills and opportunities- communications, student engagement, event management, and marketing
Grade and sort cherries according to the standard quality
Discard defective fruits or foreign matters from the sorting conveyor Inspect the visual quality of fruits prior to packing
Clean packing area after completing the day work
Advise and train packers to follow SOP
Monitor food handling and processing practices as per company quality systems - ISO 9001/ 22000/ HACCP
Update the organization risk review as KFPL risk champion

Continuously monitor the effectiveness of product complaints and trade returns by analyzing the monthly data
Train subordinates and update their knowledge
Manage and lead internal food testing laboratory to assure the compliance of raw materials/process/finished goods quality specifications and standards
Assist and advise staff to identify potential improvements in the systems, processes, and workflows
Review the records and findings of the laboratory staff in terms of the mutually agreed upon provisions of the quality control program, and manufacturing
Analyze test report data and the effectiveness and suitability of the management system
Maintain internal and external calibration
Managed laboratory staff attendance/ recruitment and Occupational Health and Safety issues
Maintained the laboratory material stock and responsible for the ordering of supplies and accounting duties
Collect samples to carry out the quality assessments
Prepare chemical solutions, reagents and culture media
Test chemical, physical, microbiological and sensorial quality of the incoming, process and finished product samples
Perform regular water quality testing on treated (EC, Salinity, pH, residual Chlorine) and frequently test the effluent water (COD, BOD) and advise plant operators to control the production operation in standard level
Check the performance of all instrumentation and calibration
Conduct shelf life testing trials for NPD
Use computation statistical methods to analyze routing product quality
Assist to prepare technical reports and laboratory test documents for the board meetings
Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of the laboratory environment and production plants
Calibrate and adjust malfunctioning laboratory equipment to ensure the accuracy of test results
Maintain inventory record of laboratory consumables
Train subordinates including management trainees, interns
Familiar with the production processes, Quality Assurance,and quality control practices, and Quality system handling research and development procedures in the following areas.
• Soft Drink Factory, Ice Cream factory, Carbon dioxide generation plant, Drinking water bottling plant, Water treatment plant, Effluent water treatment plant, boiler operation plant.
Carry out physical, chemical and microbiological tests c for raw materials, semi-processed and finished products (Ice cream, Carbonated soft drinks, Bottled drinking water, pasteurized milk)
Involve to mini projects on product development and on problem-solving.
o Research on Development of omega-3 fatty acids fortified ice cream by using ground flax seeds and microencapsulated fish oil.
o Designed and carried out the procedure of proper method to extract natural red color from Hibiscus
o Assisted to Initiate RTS products using fruit juices and make solutions for the problem issues on sedimentation
o Assist Research on effect on varying fat variety and overrun on melting resistance of ice cream.
o Assist to develop sugar-free carbonated beverages and initiate carbonated tea drink and conduct shelf life studies
