As an educational leader, I am guided by a strong belief in the potential of every child and the importance of nurturing environments where both students and educators can thrive. At its core my leadership is relational — I believe that trust, integrity, and shared purpose are the foundations of a positive and effective school culture. I see leadership as a service to others, where listening, collaboration, and reflection drive meaningful change.
Rooted in my Christian values, I strive to lead with compassion, humility, and a deep respect for the dignity of each person. These principles underpin my commitment to fostering communities where love, kindness, and justice are not only spoken but lived through daily interactions and decisions.
Experienced and values-driven educational leader with over 25 years in Australian and international contexts, specialising in IB PYP implementation, early years pedagogy, and school improvement. I have led schools through IB authorisation, curriculum transformation, and crisis response, while building inclusive, inquiry-rich environments that prioritise student wellbeing and academic growth. With a relational leadership style, I mentor staff, develop middle leadership, and foster collaborative cultures of professional learning. My expertise in play-based and inquiry learning, combined with a strategic approach to curriculum and literacy development, has positively impacted learners from Prep to Year 6 across a range of cultural and educational settings.
