Susan Augier

After a successful 30-year career in the corporate world, primarily within the Banking and Finance industry, I have decided to follow my heart and transition into a service-oriented role as a Personal Carer. Throughout my career, empathy and compassion have been my strongest attributes, enabling me to connect with my staff and stakeholders, build trust, and foster supportive environments. My goal is to apply these skills in a hands-on, meaningful way, providing quality, personalised care to individuals who need it most.

Driven by a passion for helping others, I have decided to transition career as a Personal Carer. My first part-time job at 15 years of age was working in Aged Care Home and was one of the most enjoyable roles in my career which I did for 4 years before gaining full time employment in the Finance industry. In my career in corporate industry my strengths were in team support to provide individualised care, building trust and delivering comfort to those I serve. I am looking forward to bringing my dedication, ability to adapt, flexibility and personal skills to this meaningful work, and most of all to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
