Work History

Private Nanny/babysitting

Self Employed

  • First recommendation to a family was in 2014. A nanny role to 1 year old child and supervising their 4 year old son into and pick up from daycare. Every day s the mother had a home office as a graphic designer. This translated very well for a year. The mother unfortunately was diagnosed with a brain tumour and rushed to Melbourne. I moved in, managing the children till then family sorted care. I was asked to look after the youngest child for a month whilst her mum was operated on and recovering in Melbourne on a voluntary basis. t
  • Throughout this time I was further recommended to families through out Albury/ Wodonga in a nanny and babysitting capacity.
  • Another family I babysat on a regular basis from 2016 their 18 month old child. When another child arrived I was asked if I wanted to look after her from 6 weeks old 3-4 days a week from 8am to 5 pm. I did this until she was a year old. She then went into daycare, I cared for both children on school holidays, parents holidays without the children, work and social events and if sick and cared for them most weeks in some way until they both started school this year. Their mother changed career to a ( CFA firefighter ) and sadly advised me one day that she had 'left the children home alone' on the previous night to attend 2 crash scenes. Hence my enrollment in The Certificate 111 Child Education and care. 1 have the Mandatory Reporting and the Law and Regulations to support my position.
  • I have and do look after in a babysitting capacity 5-6 of the Wodonga Fire Brigades children. recommended to each family. I have been picking up children on designated days from school and looking after them if required. Also school holiday on an occasional basis.
  • Have a family currently, mum a police woman and dad a fireman, required help with different shift starting and finishing times. I have been turning up at 5.15 am till 8.30 am. having the children up, breakfasted, dressed morning routine completed, till dad could take them to school and day care.
  • Prepared healthy, age-appropriate snacks and meals.
  • Currently I am looking after a 4 month old baby for my friend. I have know her since she was 2 years old. Now 30 years old and a mum, I am delighted to be involved with her son and caring for him while she completes an 8 week course she is auditing whist studying to be a teacher.
