  • Following a change in the operation within the business, there was a need for a more developed role to manage the workforce and ensure compliance within the business
  • Following completion of a Graduate Dip in HR, I was promoted to HR Manager and have taken on a more business development role across all sites, Flemington, Euroa, Adelaide & Sydney which duties includes:-
  • Working closely with the CEO to provide best practice approaches to the owners and Management in relation to human resources matters relating to recruitment, workforce planning and forecasting, remuneration/payroll functionality, industrial relations, employment law, and range of other operational HR services to assist business development
  • Oversee company practices and procedures to ensure compliance both within the racing industry and statutory bodies
  • Manage the implementation of all company policies in particular, those relating to equal opportunity, occupational health and safety, risk management, staff recruitment, development, performance management, planning, forecasting and review
  • Supporting and coaching Team Leaders and Forepersons with performance management, workforce planning and conflict resolution
  • Manage complaints and investigations ensuring matters are dealt with in a fair and timely manner
  • Management of Workcover policy and procedure, including preparation and company representative in Common Law insurance claims
  • Oversee RTW Co-ordination and Occupation Health, Safety & Welfare over all LPR sites
  • Provide quality, accurate monthly reporting to owners at Board level
