  • I am currently working on the “Mums and Bubs” Project with Associate Professor Nina Sivertsen. My current role involves writing and publishing findings in academic journals, securing or supporting research funding, and presenting results at conferences. This research has already achieved over five publications with another 7 under peer review. My current research interest score (January 2026) of 65.6 with over 1480 reads, 97 citations and 19 recommendations.

  • My role as research midwife was to liaise between Flinders Medical Centre and Flinders University actin as a conduit between two very different organisations. In addition my role was to contribute to the design, execution, and analysis of research projects. The role typically involves seeking ethics approval, liaising between ward staff and research staff where data was collected. In addition my role involved publishing findings in academic journals, securing or supporting research funding, and presenting results at conferences.

  • College of Nursing and Health Sciences. As a casual academic my role involved teaching and facilitating undergraduate and postgraduate students through lectures, tutorials, and assessments. The role involves designing course materials, assessing student learning, and providing academic guidance and feedback. I have been involved in a variety of first year and post graduate subjects as well as midwifery subjects. Some of the subjects I have taught include NURS1023, NURS1025, NURS1026 NURS8823 and NURS8824 among other topics.

My role as Clinical Nurse Immunisation was to assess, diagnose and provide care to mothers and infants under five years of age. This included providing immunisation and referring clients to specialist care. My role also including conducting home visits, running New Parent Groups and managing and operating an immunisation clinic in the Murraylands. In addition as a Clinical nurse I was involved in educating staff, precepting students and conducting regular CPR training.
