I offer a positive attitude and genuine interest in helping others in a customer-focused environment. I have the ability to quickly learn company products and services, ensuring accurate and efficient customer support.
I have developed excellent communication and problem-solving skills during my time at Monza Imports, enhancing warehouse efficiency and team productivity, I bring a blend of strong decision-making and effective collaboration skills. My journey since, has been marked by self-motivation and an excellent work ethic, and has prepared me to excel and adapt in dynamic environments, whether in my own business or as an employee. I am always aiming to do my best.
I have worked for myself predominately for the last 16yrs doing what I love as a barefoot hoof trimmer of horses.
I have maintained a strong base of happy customers. I have kept my schedule organized by booking in advance and ensuring the horses had the best of care.
I also did some other work in the duration of this time as I was building my business.
I have also offered training services by way of natural horsemanship, predominately using ground work to build trust and develop a relationship with the horse, before starting the riding process.
After 16yrs in this field I decided it was time to take a break so I could do more work with my own horses and not wear my self out continuing with this very strenuous and difficult job.
After a nice little break I am ready to return to employment and am looking forward to being back in an active role in the work environment.
I was employed on a casual basis at Broadfeed working a few days a week and made myself available on call.
I worked alone in store and carried out the necessary duties accordingly.
Stocking shelves, placing stock orders, helping customers and charging out items were my primary duties.
I stayed at Broadfeed whilst I rebuilt my business after the family trip around Australia.
Expanding on my duties below:
After having two children and being a stay at mum from 2003 onwards, and starting my own business, in 2014 I applied for a 6mth contract with our local council.
This position was full-time 7am-4pm. I continued to trim and work with a small amount of horses as well outside of these hours.
After this position we did a family trip around Australia for 12mths.
I started at Monza Imports in a casual position in 1998.
My responsibilities were advanced quickly as my eye for detail, reliability and work ethic were appreciated. My role developed into primary stock controller utilizing my eye for detail, my determination to find where the problems lay, and then implement a solution.
After a short period of time I was promoted to assistant warehouse manager, a role I filled for 3yrs, till I became pregnant and left to have a family in February 2003.
Management offered me employment on my terms going forward in an effort to utilize my services, but at that time, I was committed to raising my family and location for me at the time was prohibitive in my willingness to continue employment with Monza Imports, as much as I loved my role there.
I started at Australia Post as a box sorter, then onto delivery driver in a van and car, before I secured a roll as a postie on a push bike, then later obtained my motorbike license and became a relief rider for holiday and sick leave shifts as well as my own postal round.
I worked at Australia Post for approximately 6 yrs before I left to go over seas for 3 yrs where I did a variety of different jobs while I traveled.
