2005 - 2018 taught at St. Joseph's Mundingburra: Relief 1 year. Relief and Year 7 Teacher one day a week for two years. Followed by rolling fixed term contracts as a Teacher in Year 5 (two years), Year 3 (three years), Year 1 (four years).
Was a member of the TCE Arts Panel from 2011 - 2015. Seeking understanding of the then proposed National Arts Curriculum and ways in which to deliver it in our schools.
Represented TCE at the first National Art Teachers Conference, National Art Gallery of Australia, Canberra. Reporting back to TCE panelist on innovative teaching practice shared at the conference.
The Townsville Art Society awarded me a "Highly Commended for First Prize" at the Townsville Art Awards in 2002 for my chalk pastel work "Always" depicting Frangipani's. 120cm X 90cm.
