I am born and raised in Singapore for 18 years of my life before my fathers' retirement, therefore I never had the change to mingle with my relatives, especially my cousins. I just always hated the idea of being in Nepal as I was not aware of the culture, the country and the people. However, with this gap year, I was bale to strengthen my relationship with my cousins as well as my the country, Nepal. I also took this time to explore the motherland and the culture and traditions. Talking about culture and traditions, it was my first time celebrating Dashian and Tihar together with my family members which will always be something I will cherish. Therefore, gap year taught me many meaningful life lessons where I got to adventure experience various activities, mainly improve myself into skillful and meaningful person. This made me discover many new talents and skills that broaden my knowledge and perspective of life, making me more open-minded, appreciative and proactive as a whole.
