Accomplishments

Senior Training advisor

Over the course of 15 years as a trainer, I have honed exceptional communication and presentation skills, earning positive feedback from learners, colleagues, and supervisors/managers alike.

I have created and uphold a range of training and assessing methods tailored to the needs of learners. After approximately one year in the position of a Seconded Technical and Safety Instructor, I transitioned to the role of a full-time Technical and Safety Trainer for Ausgrid. In 2015, during the reapplication process for my role, I not only successfully retained my position but also advanced to a higher role as a Senior Training Advisor.

Filed Supervisor (seconded)

Despite the short-lived nature of the secondment role, where I temporarily filled in for someone on parental leave, I believe I successfully met the expectations for the Field Supervisor position. I gained praise, receiving several high-fives from managers and safety sections for my accomplishments.

Some notable achievements include constructing a UGOH as a Lineworker for our first ever Community Battery at Cabarita. Additionally, I played a key role in facilitating the thorough inspection of contractor’s Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs), leading to a significant outcome. This ensures that EWP’s adherence to meet our safety requirements, providing the business with a heightened level of assurance.

Moreover, I contributed to finalising the new EWP baseline audits and collaborated with Safety Services in developing audit, hazard assessment, and safety templates. The positive feedback received from all levels of the business reflects the recognition and appreciation for my efforts.
