Bunbury,WA

Summary

I commenced my career in health as an Enrolled Nurse in 1983, working across the country and gaining new experiences. In 2001, I completed further studies and graduated as a Registered Nurse. My journey has taken me from a novice to being in a leadership position, working as a Clinical Nurse for four years. I have worked in various areas of theatre, and during this time, I have developed a passion for providing culturally safe care for my patients within the theatre environment. I am a caring and enthusiastic nurse with excellent interpersonal skills. I value the importance of teamwork, being supportive and understanding, professionalism, and prioritising the needs and safety of my patient by delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care. I believe in following best practice and actively participate in quality and risk management activities. I have studied Foundations of Infection, Prevention and Control and I will complete my postgraduate certificate in perioperative nursing with Notre Dame University in October 2024.
