Accomplishments

I have demonstrated strong project management skills through my coordination of literacy-focused events and programs in both public and library settings. Most notably, I delivered the author component of the Readers, Writers, Content Makers project, where I invited published authors to participate in a live Q&A session. I liased with the authors, collated interview questions, and hosted the session with professionalism and warmth. In addition to library-based programming, I hosted a formal public Q&A with a published author at a Sydney bookstore, where I fielded audience questions and facilitated discussion. These events required careful planning, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts under tight timeframes. I successfully balanced logistics, stakeholder engagement, and audience needs, ensuring each session ran smoothly and created a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere. Additionally, I planned and presented children’s Storytime sessions for preschool-aged students within the University childcare centre. I regularly contribute book reviews to the WSU Rhoda Barr collection, demonstrating my strong writing skills.
