  • Projects/Key responsibility:
  • RAMAN Spectroscopy: Sample processing, data acquisition and analysis for clinical and preclinical samples.
  • NGS Projects: Responsible for blood and tissue sample processing, extraction, and quality control, of DNA and RNA samples, NGS library preparation, pre-counselling patient, and clinical report writeup. Onco-database development and validation. Preparing pre and post-test clinical notes for cancer, diabetes and endometriosis patients.
  • Flow-cytometry: Panel designing , acquisition and data analysis using FCS express for cancer samples. Diagnosis of B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) in western Indian population.
  • Preclinical Trials: Completed 2 studies to check efficacy of in-house-formulations on lung cancer and Alzheimer’s models.
  • Writing manuscripts post completion of the projects.
  • Certificate course in Cancer genomics in Dec 2024: Trained as a genetic counsellor in the department of CGC at TMH Parel and ACTREC Kharghar. Learned NGS data analysis on Sophia DDM.
  • Internship in the area of male infertility in the department of “Molecular and Cellular Biology” in year 2013. Performed DNA extraction from Blood/Semen sample and quantitation, Running PCR and AGE for visualization of DNA. Checking for copy number variations by using RFLP technique.
