Customer Delivery Scheduler

In this role, I was responsible for planning services to monitor the flow of products through the entire customer delivery process, ensuring alignment and communication with key internal stakeholders across multiple departments. Provide timely planning and scheduling of fabricated work orders to meet internal financial goals and customer delivery dates. Your duties will include cost engineering, cost estimating, analysis, and control. Interpret technical drawings and specifications of materials for fabricated orders and complete a Bill of Materials (B.O.M). Additionally, you will identify, analyze, and provide innovative solutions to cost engineering, planning, and scheduling problems.

Ownership of the planning function within the Customer Delivery Process, ensuring the integrity of the data being processed. This includes developing project forecasts, analyzing project schedules, and managing schedule analysis using resource loading histograms, resource leveling, and s-curves to ensure schedules are realistic and attainable given available resources. Manage schedule controls, including float management, earned value, and critical paths.

Responsible for developing and maintaining Customer Delivery Schedules in line with high-level business plans, and communicating with key stakeholders across engineering, production, purchasing, estimation, sales, warehousing, and supply chain. Understand and apply procedures forming the Quality Management System and work within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system. Additionally, Implement modifications to provide a cost-effective planning service within assigned budget constraints.

Develop and maintain yearly forecasts, measuring forecast accuracy quarterly. Conducting in-depth audits on production requirements, manufacturing capacity, schedules, and workforce size. Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of the production process using data from production control systems.

Research and assign manufacturing times and due dates for parts, documenting these during release, and assist the manufacturing department in actively managing the production schedule. Planning and executing a Just-In-Time (JIT) production strategy to order parts for production were key part of my role, including implementing the JIT process for both domestic and international suppliers based in Malaysia, China, and Vietnam.

Running Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and maintaining MRP recommendations using SAP, updating sales orders, maintaining production schedules, and reporting sales forecasts and Available to Sale (ATS) on SAP are essential tasks.

Conducting stocktakes every six months and implementing, complying with, and enforcing NOJA POWER’s quality, environment, and workplace health and safety procedures are also part of your responsibilities.
