GENERAL SURGERY During my 3-month General Surgery rotation, I gained substantial experience in trauma patient management, CPR and BLS, and emergency endotracheal intubation. I assisted in several laparotomies and debridements, performed minor stitches, and managed Ray's amputations under ankle block supervision. I excelled in performing a variety of procedures, including chest tube intubation, trucut biopsy of breast tissue, and sebaceous cyst excision under local anesthesia. My experience extends to emergency needle decompression of tension pneumothorax, and comprehensive wound care for various surgical procedures such as laparotomy, appendectomy, open cholecystectomy, and Whipple's. I also provided stoma care and stoma bag application. In addition to clinical duties, I counseled patients and obtained consents for different surgical procedures.
UROLOGY In my 3-month urology rotation, I gained extensive experience in assisting a variety of procedures including nephrectomy, cystectomy, prostatectomy. I skillfully handled post -op patients in UROLOGY ward, I also treated more than 500 patients in outdoor patient department .Moreover, I also manage patients in Accident and 'emergency department.
GENERAL MEDICINE In my 3-month General Surgery rotation, I effectively managed critically ill patients and medical emergencies, specializing in DKA and DCLD cases. My proficiency in BLS, CPR, and procedural skills such as IV lines, Foley catheter, and NG tube placement, coupled with therapeutic and diagnostic pleural and ascitic taps, has been instrumental in my practice. My dedication earned me recognition as the best house officer during my rotation.
PULMONOLGY In my 3-month Pulmonogy rotation, I acquired significant skills and knowledge in the field. I learned and performed chest tube insertion and assisted bronchoscopies . I also worked in Urology emergency during my 3-month rotation. I also checked 450 plus patients in out door depertment. I also conducted routine check-ups, vaccinations and health screenings for covid patients.
