Tabatha Saville

Currently a full time cricketer playing in the Women's National Cricket League and the Women's Big Bash League. I have continued my previous community work, while alongside playing.

• Took part in community outreach programs aimed at promoting sport participation amongst young people.
• Participated in community events to bring positive attention to organization.
• Mentored younger athletes, helping develop and improve skills.
• Accepted constructive criticism from coaches and teammates to improve skills.
• Represented team at professional sporting activities, in media interviews and in support of charitable causes.

Another role I held around the Port Adelaide football club was in their membership department. I worked casually within their call centre. This role in particular is where I learned a lot of valuable lessons around building work place relationships and the value of team work within an organisation

• Maintained relationships with current members by providing regular updates on new developments in the organization's services or benefits packages.
• Developed processes for tracking donations made by members as well as renewal fees owed.
• Generated reports on membership trends, retention rates, and other key metrics.
• Provided customer service support to address questions or concerns from members regarding their accounts or benefits.
• Collaborated with marketing team to create content for newsletters, emails, website, and social media posts related to membership initiatives.
• Managed communications between staff, board of directors, committees, volunteers, donors, sponsors, and other stakeholders regarding various aspects of the organization's membership program.

During my time working at the Port Adelaide Football Club, I found myself fortunate enough to work across their community programs in their Multicultural, Youth and Indigenous programs. As a facilitator I worked in low socio-economic school areas and traveled to regional areas to deliver our programs alongside our community team.

• Developed and implemented program curriculum for youth participants.
• Established positive relationships with community partners to expand programming opportunities.
• Facilitated group activities in a safe, supportive environment.
• Monitored progress towards achievement of course objectives and goals.

My first professional opportunity to play cricket first time was with the South Australian Scorpions and the Adelaide Strikers. While playing full time I studied part time at the University of South Australia and had the opportunity to work within their community program delivering a session that allowed me to share my story into cricket the lessons I've learned.
