A Social Work graduate with an immense diverse wealth of knowledge and experience which has enhanced my skillset. I have undertaken placement in different fields as a student social worker using strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills to develop relationships with clients, setting up support structures for them and serve as a liaison between stakeholders. My role was providing client center assessments and intervention strategies to determine clients ‘needs and goals and delivering support for them. My goal as a social worker is to be able to provide counselling to clients, assess their requirements and support groups, families, and other stakeholders to promote an integrated approach to meet clients ‘needs. · Designed and implemented a program in the form of a pamphlets benefiting students by enhancing their abilities to connect and build relationships outside of school hours and referring services to students and families -Received 80% positive feedback from their families and outstanding comments from teachers.
· Lead a suitable group activity for residents ensuring that their social and emotional needs are met taking into consideration some ideas presented by other peers -90% of residents participated in the wellbeing activity hence maintaining a true sense of community.
