Summary

My name is Tahlia, and I'm currently a Year 10 student at Snowy Mountains Grammar School.

I'm currently an academic honors and endeavor student. During 2024, I maintained an 80% average across all subjects, and was awarded 1st place in both Art and Mathematics, as well as the Emerging Arts Award overall out of Year 9 and 10 students. I am currently a mountain bike academy student and alpine ski racing academy student I take place in Duke of Edinburgh and take weekly flying lessons, and enjoy all things outdoors. I am a team player, good at following instructions, and eager to learn new skills. I am reliable and honest and will take on any new position with excitement and enthusiasm.

  • Volunteer Mountain bike coach for Snowy Mountains Grammar Junior school mountain bike program. Tasks include monitoring child safety, and teaching new mountain bike skills. Encouraging young students to have a go, while using positive reinforcement.
  • Volunteer netball umpire for the Jindabyne Netball Association; skills include efficient running of netball games, and fair, impartial umpiring. Adherence to rules and enforcement of rules.

  • Student Pilot at Alpine Aviation Australia, with background in aviation theory and flight regulations. Understands importance of safety procedures, pre-flight inspections, and post-flight checks. Currently 18 months into training for RAAUS recreational pilots license. I have recently gone solo and have since done 2 hours solo flying.
