I come from a hard working, family owned and world renowned business. After completing year 12, (in 1993) I was offered a place at UWA to study violin performance. I deferred this degree, to work in the family hairdressing business, The House of Ernest. Whilst working full time, I kept my mind active by completing a Trichology degree, and then went on to pursue studies in Psychology at Curtin University. I was placed in the top 3% of academic students, and was awarded a position in the Golden Key Society. I also continued to play the violin, and was involved in 5 musical recordings for TV and CD's as well as performing with a string quartet.
In1997 I worked in Brisbane for a year to further my hairdressing skills, and then moved to London, where I worked for John Frieda. I then moved to New York and worked on Film sets, doing hair, one being Meet Joe Black, directed by Martin Brest. Upon returning to Perth, I continued to work in the family business, and looked after clients Olivia Newton John and Gemma Ward, and curated many photo shoots until I started my family.
I moved to Paris with my family in 2015, to have the French experience. Whilst living in Paris I was involved in the wardrobe department for a children's theatre production called Porridge.
In 2017, I began my journey into writing children's books, and have published a book, called Rosie and the Oak Tree Fairies.
In 2020, I returned to my love of film, and worked on film sets, having done short films, web series, and a feature film. I was a production assistant for the award winning feature film Pieces, directed by Martin Wilson.
