As part of the recent Cert II in Electrotechnology course, I had the privilege of working closely with Glen Whitehand one day a week. I mainly assisted him with the maintenance of the lighting in Australia Fair.

To gain valuable experience for securing an electrical apprenticeship, I proactively reached out to various contractors to offer my assistance on an occasional basis. This allowed me to gain practical insights and hands-on experience in the field.

• Assisted in the installation and maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Gained extensive experience in retrofitting air conditioning systems, primarily in the commercial sector.
• Acquired skills in residential ducted and split systems installations and maintenance

• Contracted to Kyle mainly doing landscaping.
• Removed weeds, hazards, and debris from common pathways to improve usability.
• Performed planting, watering, mulching, and edging of lawns.
• Trimmed greenery, shrubs, and hedges to maintain uniform appearance.

• Worked in a fast-paced environment and gained skills in food preparation.
• Kept work areas clean, organized, and safe to promote efficiency and team safety.
• Learned all required tasks quickly to maximize performance.
• Contributed to team success by completing jobs quickly and accurately.

• Assisted in the installation and setup of plant displays as well as maintenance of plants.
• Maintained accurate vendor information in the database, ensuring efficient communication and payment processing.
