I am Takara Koyama, 15 years old. I am in 10th grade, attending at Trinity Bay State High School. I first moved to Australia at age of 7 and I faced many challenges such as language barrier. However, I have involved myself in different activities such as scout, swimming, and basketball. This assisted me to overcome the language barrier but also gained various skills I have listed. I can confidently demonstrate these skills in the workplace which I gained from these experience. I have listed the available working hours, please check.
Available hours:

I was inspired playing basketball from my brother and I have recently started to play for a club last year. I just love the idea of being able to work on the skills by myself but also requires a lot of teamwork during the game. I found this sport the most interesting out of all sports I have done. I am still thinking to continue playing this sport.
I have been participating scout since I was 9 years old (4 years). In scout, I get to participate in various outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, sailing, rock-climbing and so on. Also, I have participated in volunteering activities such as regional council rubbish pick up through scout. From these experience, I have demonstrated certain aspects of leadership within the team and understood the importance of teamwork. I strongly believe in the significance of teamwork in the workplace, and I am confident in my ability to excel in this aspect.
I volunteered to help my mother's business when I am available. The work involves cleaning the floor, talking to the customer, serving drinks and handing some magazines. This experience gave me an insight of 'working' but also gained many skills such as communicating with customer. I feel prepared to work on first paid job,
I have been a part of this swimming club for six years. I love pushing myself to the limit and always look for improvements. I have won many races and it is been improving since I have started. From this experience, I have consistently displayed dedication towards achieving my goals and a strong drive to continually improve and surpass previous performance. I am confident that this idea can be applied in the workplace but also demonstrate this aspect.
